This is my first email not as active chairperson of Nicotine Anonymous
World Services, but as World Services' Online Liaison...person...or
whatever. (Not sure of the exact title, but I don't think it matters
much.) I understand a lot was going on in peoples' lives at the time
of the 2008 conference, so the only one of you I actually met on Long
Island was John R from VONR. However, I'm also attempting to contact
Susan S (also of VONR, and thier official group rep), Kathie K from
Lobbyville, and Carol and Regina from Unofficial. Again, I'm sorry
you couldn't make it to the conference, but there's always 2009.
Please find attached the conference wrap-up I did for the Seven
Minutes newsletter. I hope in the next couple weeks to deliver a more
detailed account of what was discussed in the Online Workshop in
particular, recalling some of the ideas and concerns highlighted by
all the participants, along with my two cents on which of these are
most pressing...and most "doable." Please chime in with your
thoughts, of course. Especially if I'm not making any sense.
Oh, and if there's been a change in whoever I should be contacting
from your group, please let me know, and pass along their email
address, so I can communicate.
