As a newbie pipe smoker, the range of pipes available is most confusing.
Apart from asthetics and quality of workmanship I see that there is a huge range in chamber size and shape.
Now even I understand that a bigger pipe gives a longer smoke.
What I want to understand is this ..
Given equal chamber volume, what are the advantages/disadvantages of the low fat bowl and the tall narrower bowl.
(in burning qualities, not asthetics)
spoiled with choice and want to buy the whole shop,
