It arrived in NC in good order on Thursday last week. I have been sampling the 1864 every morning on the way to work. I'm not a huge aromatic fan but this one is not too bad at all. I cracked open the Irish Oak expecting something wonderful and was surely let down, I've tried a few bowls and can't even pick up the perique, I guess over the aromatic, just not for me so hopefully the next folks in line will enjoy it. I've still got some of the Englishes to sample before I let it go, I'll try to get it out Saturday or Monday to the next one on the list. I am planning on adding a tin of Back Porch (not for me either) and a tin of MacB's VA#1 (my fave for others to sample) as well as some other odds and ends. This is my first experience with a box pass and I really have enjoyed it. I was hoping to find time to restore the pipe that is in there for the next person but I've been working a ton of overtime the past week and won't get to it in any reasonable
amount of time.
