I went on vacation last week and had a great time with my wife and
kids. We came home the day before my birthday and had planned to
just kinda keep it low key for my birthday and relax. While I am
still on leave from my last tour in the litter box and waiting to
find out if I am going to have surgery to fix and injured shoulder,
my wife has to go back to work.
Upon returning home, I happened to look over the porch while
unlocking the door to be greeted by my Corgi, and I spotted a large
box. I picked the box up and looked at the return address. I was
surprised to see that it was John O's. I thought to myself; what the
hell could be in this box? So my eight year old daughter, Rhea, and
I went in to the dining room and opened the mysterious package. I
think she was just as excited as I was! Once I opened it, I about
fell down looking at what was inside! There were so many pipes and
pouches/tins of tobacco that I was wondering where all of this could
have come from.
For those of you who were involved with this, my heart cannot express
the gratitude and appreciation. I saw the list and was amazed at the
amount of people and items that had been given. You guys have given
me hope in my fellow man.
I dont know what I have done to deserve this gift, but I really do
appreciate it. I will put all of these gifts to great use, some of
it is already being used. I am enjoying the hell out of this. I
dont know if I deserve this, but I will surely enjoy it. This was
one of the greatest birthday gifts I have ever received.
