My suggestion would be to drill it out.  Do not exceed 4mm and be extreemly careful around the button area and it is not necessary to drill through the button.  Start with a drill just a size larger than the drill that fits in the existing draft hole begining at the shank end of the bit..  Continue on up with the next larger until the whistle subsides.

One of the pipes I have inherited is a Savinelli Punto Oro Mister G.
When I draw on it it whistles!
How do I fix this ?
I have established that the whistle is in the bit section as when I
remove the bit from the bowl and draw through the bit it still whistles.
I do love this pipe but the whistle is SO annoying.
Any suggestions on how to fix it would be much appreciated !
