The Savinelli Punto Oro Mr. G just smokes SO well, that I have decided to NOT drill or file it any further in case I do some damage.
I will try the trick with the pipecleaner in the drill as this sounds like something a beginner can handle without doing too much harm.
I wonder if doing this with a bit of alcohol (151 proof rum maybe?) on the pipe cleaner would be a good way to clean any gunk out.
