[Pipe smokers] MacBaren Golden Blend for breaking in pipes

I have been smoking this blend from time to time, about a pouch a year. The other day i was going through my tobaccos and discovered this and thought it would be a great blend to break in new pipes. The burly is around and the taste is not really overpowering. On the flip side, it does burn as hot as hell and could ruin a pipe. Bear in mind that i am assuming the pipe will be used for Virginia and/or VaPer blends once break in is completed
 
I would like to know what you guys think of this
