I have a few GLP tins ageing for 3 years now. I've had a couple of them
rust on me. So my suggestion is to keep them in a dry place, and to
check them now and then for rust. Often it happens beneath the paper
label, where the tin is made of steel. The tops and bottoms are made of
aluminum, so those are rust-proof. If you live in a humid climate, you
might want to consider moving them to a sealed jar. But I have not
actually done it yet for my remaining tins. But once I open a tin, the
tobacco gets transferred to a jar to keep them longer.
Just my thoughts,
Regards,
Krypton
