I too have been smoking all the Captain Black blends for 30+ years with
never a problem.
I do not see where freezing Tobacco ( dead vegetable matter) would have
any affect; certainly is not going to stop the microbes from decomposing
the dead Tobacco fibers.
I have left tobacco in glass Mason jars in my mountain Cabin with
temperature near -50 degrees all Winter at 9,950 feet and noticed no ill
effects!
