I haven't been smoking as much during the visit from my children but I sure wasn't going to stop smoking completely for 9 days!! I often smoke in the car but have refrained from that while the kids are in the car with me. I often smoked in the Family Room while they were in another room. Or I smoked in my bedroom. I also smoked outdoors during some of our activities. I'm an adult and I'm a pipe smoker. I smoke when I want and I don't care what Kevin thinks about it. Kevin hasn't vocally complained about my pipe smoking in years and even seems to be a little more tolerate when exposed to my pipe smoke.
Last night Kevin & Sarah were dropped off at the mall for a movie. My 18-year-old son Brian and I smoked a cigar together. That was very enjoyable bonding time.
The kids leave for home today (Brown Deer, WI) and although Tropical Storm Fay is over Florida today, it is not affecting Tampa much. Their 3:46pm flight to Atlanta has not been cancelled.

You say he threw away one of your favorite pipes, and this child is
still alive? MMmmmm!

Tampa from Milwaukee, WI. They leave on the 19th. The weather
hasn't been that great (lots of rain) but we still managed to get
some outdoor activities in (including Busch Gardens on Thursday when
it rained on and off all day). Today we're going to the Outback
restaurant for lunch and then visiting Ybor City (my daughter Sarah,
age 15, wants a tiny nose piercing). Before their departure at
3:45pm on Tuesday, my son Brian, age 18, and I are going to have a
cigar together at Edward's Tobacco shop (he's tried a pipe and tells
me he doesn't have much interest in them anymore (he HAS smoked a
pipe with me a few years ago). Now he prefers cigars and he's also
of legal age so it will be very nice to smoke a cigar with him.
It's a shame my oldest son, Kevin (age 20) doesn't have a pipe
interest. I think he would look make a fine looking pipe smoker.
Realistically, I

in him takes place. Kevin is very anti-tobacco and he even threw
away one of my favorite pipes back in 2002 (when he was 14)
