Re: [Pipe smokers] Royal Yacht darkening over time?

Well Ryan, Ben is right about all the LOL experts etc who can really bash this blend but its a great tobacco. Some think it was ruined...but then thats all relative, if you like it. And I do every evening. I have lots of it, keep it for long periods of time, some smoked soon, some much later depending upon whether I am stateside or not at the time....and I have noted it does darken some, but only to an advantage. Nice taste and aroma, not bite and has a nice tingle spice to it..enjoy it. There are a lot of other blends that have more bite and aggravation to get a lot less pleasure...if you like this...keep stocking up. Bests,

I have a 50g tin of Royal Yacht I bought in 2004. I think I've smoked
maybe 2 bowls of it so far. Smoking a 3rd right now. It could be my
imagination, but it looks like the mixture has darkened over time...?
I seem to recall it being a medium/dark tan color. Its now a deeper
brown.

Thanks,
Ryan Thompson
