"different strokes for different folks" comes to
mind.
I have been wanting to try virginia again. I tried
McClelland's Dark Star several years ago. I don't
remember what I didn't like about it, but I didn't
stay with it.
I ordered a tin each of Escudo and McConnell's
Scottish Cake from Iwan Ries and they arrived yesterday.
After two bowls of Scottish Cake I think I'm hooked.
Good body and slightly sweet and burns well to a
fine powdery ash.
I have yet to try the Escudo but it's going to have
to be something special to beat the Scottish Cake.
